Empowering Medical Students

“Cancer Leader Development Program for Medical Students” an illustrious voyage commenced to nurture a cohort of committed and passionate young medical students who will emerge as future leaders, advocates, and change-makers in the fight against cancer introduced as a joint venture of Cancer Awareness Foundation of Bangladesh and Oncology Club Bangladesh. In 2023, Cancer Leader Development Program united blooming young leaders from 6 reputed medical colleges in Bangladesh & offered them a holistic learning experience in cancer control & research through several capacity building activities including a 2 days long physical boot camp.

The apex of their skill implementing expedition was completing a research work on given title which later got a golden opportunity to be showcased on The Global Health Catalyst Summit 2024. On basis of a thorough evaluation of their yearlong performance, Dhaka National Medical College was declared as the best performer team and Jarin Tasnim from Shaheed Ziaur Rahman Medical College, Bogura was honored as the best performer of Cancer Leader Development Program for Medical Students (Season 1).
