Cancer Leader Development Program: Year-End Achievement

The state-of-the-art “Cancer Leader Development Program for Medical Students,” a joint initiative of Cancer Awareness Foundation and Oncology Club Bangladesh, has successfully groomed 36 students from Dhaka Medical College, Sir Salimullah Medical College, Mymensingh Medical College, Dhaka National Medical College, Faridpur Medical College, and Shaheed Ziaur Rahman Medical College, Bogura. The students have completed the 1-year program through various boot camps, community work, awareness programs, research work, and finally presenting their research at the esteemed “Global Health Catalyst Summit 2024,” where ambassadors have successfully presented their research on the global platform, which was highly appreciated by the panellists, Prof. Dr. Alessio G Morganati and Prof Jamal Kadir. Dhaka National Medical College has been awarded the best-performing team, and Jarin Tasnim from SZMC Bogura has been awarded the best individual performance.
