Launch and Bootcamp for Project p53

Project p53 is a six-month project that aims to develop skills and conduct research. It began with
a bootcamp, where young undergraduate students from various fields such as medicine, public
health, and life sciences were trained. The event involved many activities, including discussions,
teamwork, project idea generation, cancer problems in Bangladesh, cancer volunteering, the role
of youth, teamwork, conflict resolution, and research mentoring

Virtual Seminar on Awareness on Female Cancer – Project p53
Duration: July 24-26, 2025
A free virtual seminar on female cancer was conducted as part of the curricula of Project p53
where comprehensive presentations were made about common female cancers in Bangladesh,
which lasted for three days. Participants received e-certificates at the end of the seminar.

Completion of Project p53

The completion of Project p53 occurred successfully through a six-month youth empowerment
program carried out from December 2024 to July 2025. It involved twenty-two students from
different disciplines, who gained proficiency in fields including cancer biology, preventive
measures, leadership, research methodology, psychology, communications, and story-telling.
Five top-performing participants were selected for further research work under the mentorship of
CAFBD.
