On the occasion of World Cancer Day 2016, the Cancer Awareness Foundation took the global
theme “We can, I can” to the community at Dholaikhal through an intensive awareness program
where interactive discussions on the risk factors of cancer, methods of detection, etc., were held,
along with the distribution of educational literature in Bengali, to drive home the point that
awareness is the major tool to prevent cancer.
