The Cancer Awareness Foundation successfully organized the 2nd National Cancer Volunteer Summit 2024 at Bishwo Shahittya Kendro with IFMSA Bangladesh as a youth development partner, bringing together over 150 passionate cancer volunteers from 25+ prestigious institutions. The event was illuminated by renowned speakers on cancer prevention and challenges in today’s scenario. The event included sessions by Dr. Umme Humyra Kaneta, Mrs. Farah Diba on nutrition, Dr. Reifad Zaman on the current cancer landscape, Dr. Manifa Naj Fatma on screening essentials and Dr. Sanjida Tanjin Khan on psychological aspects of cancer volunteering. The highlight of the day was a cancer volunteering workshop by Dr. Md Masumul Haque, which included an exciting quiz contest and awards for outstanding volunteers Sabbir Ahmed Osmani, Devi Dhar, and newcomer Bushra Zabin.
